The information in this website will turn solo and small firm lawyers into
big time marketers. I developed this website to teach other lawyers how to effectively and ethically market their legal services
so that they can work more efficiently and productively. By implementing the ideas discussed on this
website, my readers will be able to spend more time working on the cases they like, for more money, and with
less stress.
When I first opened my own law firm, the biggest fear I had was where I would get my next client. I took out a yellow page ad, spent a lot of money on a fancy website, and bought lunch for every attorney that was willing to meet with me. I looked at what all the other attorneys were doing, and tried to duplicate it.
I wish that I knew then what I know now.
Some cases came in, (not great ones - but they paid the bills), and I knew that I could do better. That's when I started to teach myself everything I could about marketing my law practice. I
read books about referral marketing and legal advertising, and looked at the different systems that
were sold by (mostly) nonlawyers. I hired a marketing coach and a virtual marketing assistant to assist me in my efforts. I attended teleseminars on law firm marketing, and went to rainmaking conferences.
By learning about legal marketing this way, I began to realize that I had wasted a tremendous amount of time on ideas that just didn't work.
I started implementing the ideas that I learned with astounding results. My fees went up with fewer clients. One attorney went so far as to tell me that I've done a better job marketing myself than any other young attorney he's ever met.
But, if I had implemented the systems I'll teach you in this website, I could have done better, faster.That's why I've started this website - so that other attorneys can learn from my mistakes.
Most lawyers don't understand how easy it is to market a law practice - once you understand how to do it properly.
